1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or accessed from a user's device when visiting a website. Similar technologies may perform comparable functions. Optional technologies are activated only where the required consent has been obtained.
2. Categories
Strictly Necessary
Required for core website, security, booking and privacy-preference functions. These technologies do not require optional consent where they are technically necessary for a service requested by the user.
Analytics
Helps understand how visitors use the website. Analytics is disabled by default and may be activated only after the required consent. No analytics service is currently confirmed as active.
Marketing
Advertising, attribution or retargeting technologies if introduced in the future. Disabled by default and activated only with valid consent.
Third-party Content
Optional external content such as Google Maps. The current implementation blocks Google Maps until the visitor permits third-party content or chooses to load it through the cookie settings interface.

The cookie is written only when a user actively enters or applies a coupon code.
4. Consent Preferences
The website stores the visitor's cookie preferences locally so that the choices can be respected. This privacy-preference storage is strictly necessary for remembering the user's choice.
5. Google Maps
The interactive Google Maps iframe is not loaded by default. A placeholder is shown first. Google Maps loads only if the visitor permits third-party content through the cookie controls.
6. Fonts
The website package supplied with this policy does not request Google Fonts from Google's servers and instead uses the site's local/system font stack, reducing unnecessary third-party requests before consent.
7. Future Analytics or Marketing Tools
If Olive Suites later introduces Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar or another visitor-tracking technology, this Cookie Policy and the consent configuration must be updated before or at activation.
8. Your Choices
Visitors can accept all optional technologies, reject all optional technologies, or manage individual optional categories. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent use of core website and booking functions.
9. Changing or Withdrawing Consent
Use the persistent Cookie Settings control in the website footer to change or withdraw consent at any time.
10. Consent Records
Where consent is required, Olive Suites may maintain information such as consent status, categories selected, date/time, policy/version identifier and an anonymous or pseudonymous identifier where needed to demonstrate and respect privacy choices.
